The Matrix Patch™ equine is a cell-free, equine-derived pericardial patch. It is designed for the repair of congenital and acquired cardiac defects, offering a next-generation solution that supports surgical precision and improves patient outcomes.

Manufactured using a proprietary process that eliminates the need for glutaraldehyde, the Matrix Patch™ equine prevents calcium build-up and maintains long-term tissue integrity. It combines outstanding mechanical stability — comparable to autologous pericardium and conventional glutaraldehyde-treated patches — with enhanced handling, improved suture retention, and reduced needle-hole bleeding.
